Breeding CryptoKitties might seem like luck of the draw at first, but there is definitely a method to it and I am determined to figure it out. This post is a list of the tips and tricks I have learned so far.

Cattributes Sorted by Type

There are 8 different main types of cattributes for CryptoKitties. Apparently only 18% of the different cattributes have been released so far. I am listing them below, and I will update as more cattributes are discovered.

Dominant and Recessive Cattributes

The rarer cattributes seem to be recessive. So if you are trying to breed a rare cat, make sure both parents have that cattribute to increase your chances. When you look at a kittie’s parentage, the father is on the left and the mother is on the right. Just like with real genetics, some genes can only be passed paternally or maternally.

If you have any tips, please leave a comment below! I will update when I learn more about the dominate and recessive traits.
